Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Podiatry team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Duties:

- Provide exceptional patient service, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries

- Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures and examinations as well as charting.

- Provide medical administrative support, such as maintaining patient records and managing documentation

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures and treatments

- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately perform tasks

- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment

- Prepare patients for X-ray imaging, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures

Skills:

- Proficient in providing patient care with compassion and empathy and a great sense of humor.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient information

- Familiarity with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing records

- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology principles

- Experience with X-ray procedures and safety protocols

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable

- Previous experience working in a clinical setting is preferred
